Emotional Empowerment
In the field of emotional empowerment, the educational process at Mikros Maestros Nursery School aims to support children’s emotional development. We believe that emotional education is a vital part of learning, and we strive to contribute to shaping each child’s personality.
Our goal is to help children believe in themselves, be courageous, explore the world, feel joy and express it—in other words, to be happy. At the same time, we guide them in facing their fears, recognizing negative emotions, and learning how to manage and overcome them, allowing them to move forward with confidence.
This means that children learn to identify different emotions—both their own and those of others. They are encouraged to express their feelings using simple words, body language, and facial expressions, while also developing skills in negotiation, responsibility, and understanding the consequences of their behavior.
Finally, we place great emphasis on cultivating empathy from this early stage of development. Empathy is an essential value for both the present and the future. Through our approach, children learn to respond appropriately to the emotions of others, show care and understanding, and perceive different perspectives through which people experience events.
