Toddler Section for Children Aged 2 to 3 Years<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the toddler section of Mikros Maestros<\/strong>, children begin to acquire their first knowledge, mainly related to the physical environment, their own body, and the family environment<\/strong>, areas that are closely related to their personal experiences. At this tender age, it is time for children to meet new friends, engage in creative play, share their emotions, and become part of a group of peers, while still maintaining their uniqueness.<\/p>\n

The activities are based solely on play<\/strong>, aiming at developing basic skills upon which we will build knowledge about the world around them. We encourage them to use language<\/strong> to express their thoughts, assist social interactions, and engage in imitative play<\/strong>. We introduce them to new materials to help them adapt their fine motor skills<\/strong> to the appropriate age-appropriate use of these materials. They advance in their self-awareness<\/strong> and understanding of their body’s capabilities and begin to care for themselves<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We are here to support them, offering them a space at Mikros Maestros<\/strong> filled with the warmth and embrace of home, ready to fill them with knowledge, colors, images, and imagination<\/strong> through music and movement activities, theatrical play<\/strong>, and many beautiful stories! They discover themselves, the world around them, and we are here to embrace them and accompany them on their wonderful journey of exploration, providing the right equipment and a variety of educational and learning tools, along with our extensive experience to achieve our educational goals, which are as follows:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Motor Strengthening<\/strong><\/h3>\n

For the development of basic motor skills, strengthening balance<\/strong>, performing static and dynamic movements<\/strong>, understanding basic spatial concepts<\/strong>, and practicing gross motor skills<\/strong>. Our deeper goal is to improve hand-eye coordination<\/strong>, achieve greater control over small muscles<\/strong> and limbs<\/strong>, encourage grip strength<\/strong>, and practice fine motor skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Cognitive Strengthening<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Based on the cultivation of oral language<\/strong>, expanding vocabulary through linguistic activities<\/strong>, enhancing critical thinking<\/strong> and observation skills<\/strong>, encouraging counting<\/strong> through mathematical activities<\/strong>, solving simple daily problems, and learning self-care routines through the Montessori approach<\/strong>. Our goal is to expose children to various materials, develop their senses, and help them discover the world through sensory and messy play<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Emotional Empowerment<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Through self-awareness<\/strong>, we aim to help children understand basic emotions<\/strong>, cultivate self-awareness<\/strong>, empathy<\/strong>, and strengthen self-confidence<\/strong> and the sense of respect<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Social Awareness<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Building on the exchange of ideas and opinions, we develop a sense of teamwork<\/strong> and community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Theatrical Play and Puppet Theatre<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To foster experiential learning<\/strong>, allowing children to engage with the art of aesthetics<\/strong> and express themselves and their thoughts.<\/p>\n
