Origami Workshop Description
The wonderful art of Origami comes from Japan, and the words “Ori” and “Kami” mean paper folding, respectively. The art of paper folding can cover all levels of difficulty, from easy to complex. We use only sheets of paper and our hands, and in no case do we use scissors. It’s not just a visual art but also a form of entertainment. Children love origami!
And who doesn’t?
We give shape, color, style, and character to a blank sheet of paper. Various cute figures can be made from just one sheet in only a few minutes. The creations in origami vary. From the well-known boat we all made as children and the paper dart we threw in class, to more difficult and realistic designs made with one or more sheets of paper and combining different folding techniques. Fish, ducks, elephants, butterflies, and even boxes that have both practical and decorative uses.
The goal of the Origami Workshop is to develop fine motor skills, nurture imagination, and of course, bring fun and creativity to children. At the same time, the child learns to follow steps, rules, and work both individually and as part of a team.
They capture ideas on paper and leave their personal mark.
