Infant Section for Children Aged 2 Months to 1.5 Years
At the infant section of Mikros Maestros, we care for the biological and developmental needs of infants with sensitivity and responsibility. We organize their environment and daily schedule with appropriate stimuli and activities based on modern educational principles. Respecting each child’s individual growth and adaptation pace, we ensure a smooth transition from home to the school environment, tailored to each infant’s unique needs.
Our goal is to support children’s physical, cognitive, and emotional development, helping them acquire skills, self-confidence, and enjoyment through primarily experiential learning approaches. We aim for the early experiences of infancy to contribute to children’s self-awareness and independence as they grow.
The well-designed spaces of Mikros Maestros schools, which provide warmth and comfort reminiscent of home, combined with a variety of educational tools and our extensive experience, help us achieve the following objectives:
• Motor Strengthening
Supporting the development of gross motor skills, balance, movement stabilization, spatial awareness, and understanding of their body’s capabilities.
• Fine Motor Skills
Enhancing hand dexterity, wrist and finger movement control, hand-eye coordination, and attention focus.
• Sensory Development
Encouraging exploration and discovery of the world of senses, boosting imagination, self-confidence, self-esteem, and enabling free expression of experiences and emotions.
• Auditory Perception
Improving phonological and auditory skills, word comprehension and imitation, and introducing children to music and musical instruments.
• Aesthetic Development
Providing opportunities for creative expression through various forms of art, storytelling, music, visual arts, and dance. Children explore different materials, experiment, and enjoy engaging in artistic activities.
